Inspiration
This piece is inspired by oceanography, the study of whale songs and the ever increasing importance of marine conservation.
Collection
This piece is part of the Use Your Voice collection, created to celebrate empowerment, enable the sharing of narrative and fight for the conservation of the planet.
Technique
Admiral's Whale Song was created from an original hand-cut collage. The unique paper cut was made using vintage portraiture and an illustration of a humpback whale, once arranged they are attached to a paper background.
The result is then professionally scanned and giclee printed with pigment-based inks onto high-quality archival paper, achieving a print of superior quality in colour and detail.

Mount
We offer optional mounting for all of our fine art prints. The artwork will be archivally mounted using a snow-white mount board, placing the artwork behind the window mat to protect the inks and paper texture when framing.
Bespoke mounts are made to order: High Quality / Precision Cut / Bevelled Edged / Ice White / Acid Free PH Neutral / Conservation Quality / 1.4mm Thick / Backed (using same board)

Each high quality frame is made to order by our London based design team. All frames come with gallery spec, 3mm thick anti-reflective/ UV glazing as standard.
