Inspiration
This chemigram was inspired by three Greek and Roman mythical gods. The title alludes to Neptune's brothers Jupiter, God of the Sky, Pluto, ruler of the Underworld, and Neptune's place between as God of the Sea.

From the series Celestial Mechanics - The Waltz of the Wanderer.
Technique
Nuptiae (Marriage Of Heaven And Earth) was created from an original manipulated pinhole film negative. The unique negative was made using the mouth as the camera and the lips as the pinhole.
The planet-like image was further developed by painting chemicals directly onto the film's surface after developing. The result was then scanned, and digitally coloured. This technique is often called camera-less or alternative process photography.
